Pool skimmer — Sandy Springs, GA

What affects the price

Remodeling costs depend on what you want to change. If you are just resurfacing, the price is lower than if you are adding structural features like tanning ledges, spas, or new lighting. The size of your pool, the depth, and the type of finish—such as plaster versus pebble—will shift your final bill. Upgrading your equipment or installing high-end tile also adds to the total. We evaluate your specific backyard setup to give you a solid number. Exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

About this service

The pool skimmer is the intake opening located at the water level that pulls surface debris into the filtration system. You need to check your skimmer basket regularly to ensure it is not clogged with leaves or insects, which can restrict water flow to the pump. If the basket is cracked or missing, it should be replaced immediately to protect your equipment. We can help you find the right fit for your skimmer housing.

Remodeling during the summer is possible, though it means your pool will be out of commission while you might want to use it most. Some homeowners prefer to tackle smaller repairs or equipment upgrades during this time to keep the pool functional. If you don't mind a brief pause in swimming, it is a great time to see the crew in action under perfect daylight conditions.
